Hi guys, first post in for me.

Had this strange session at pacific the other night.
The Villian (BTN in this hand) had been picking on me all night. What are your thoughts? Was he just pushing me around in this hand or not?

He played back at me almost all the time at this table, I felt I had to show him who was in charge.
My stats at this table was around 23/14/2,5

He has around 25/16/2 for around 500 hands.

Thought his range could have been anything at this moment, but had a feel of something like 1010/QQ

I had been potbetting quite much at this moment, thought he wanted to push me out of the pot here.

This is good, maybe reraise a bit more pf. Obviously you're never folding AA in a 3bet pot on such a drawy flop.

Played fine, especially given your read that he's been playing back at you. Pot size is fine, especially since that's been been your standard and you do have a strong hand here. No way am I folding in a ~50 pot with ~20 to call. If this is one of the times he shows up with a set, c'est la vie.

Don't make plays because you want to "show him who's in charge." Make plays because you're taking advantage of his tendencies to increase your profits. Play the game as if it's about money, not egos.

Whitewolf, I did not mean it like it was about egos.

I thought my hand was good the most of the time here against this player. I also knew if I had folded here he would never stop playing back at me.
So the "show who is in charge" was not about egos, rather a move so he knows what he is up against when we meet again. (seems quite possible when I have played a couple of sessions with him)

Thanks for the feedback guys!
