I only bet 1/2 pot on the turn and river so I could get away more cheaply if he had a flush (or slowplaying). Is this the wrong thinking?

Do you think I could've gotten more value out of the river?

after he calls the turn bet then he probably has TP or weak 2 pair or is slowplaying a flush. I like your half the pot bet but I think you could have bet 3/5 or 3/4 the pot on the river

Eh...I think I put in too much info on how the rest of the hand played out.

I'll just go ahead and say that I played the turn fine but I probably could've Bet/folded the river for maybe $1.55.

Post if you disagree.

Stats and how quickly he called your flop/turn bets would be good to consider here, but anyways I dont think you missed much value on the hand. I probably wouldve made bigger turn bet to keep a 4-card flush draw out.

Villain's ranges are so wide at this level. Bet 3/4-full pot on the turn, we dont want a one paired club to catch up. Continue to apply pressure and assume you have the best hand until convinced otherwise by villain pressure. Looks like you're up against TPMK, possibly 2 pair here, but then again it's hard to tell b/c nobody is raising>>>>>>>>>>calling station's galore. I repeat: DON'T give people credit for a big hand until you're told otherwise with raise/bet pressure

as played, b/f river 3/4 pot
