Ok, this really caught me by surprise considering MLB and the stance towds gambling.

Liberty Media Corp. owns the Atlanta Braves.

Guess what else this company owns? Thats right, INTERNET GAMBLING COMPANIES!

Wow.

They own 53% (and are seeking the remaing 47%) of Fun Technologies. So who are they? They own World Winner
from Newton Mass., Skill Jam and others.

http://www.funtechnologies.com/ (advertises MORe cash games than anyone at SkillJam

Oh, lets not forget the Fantasy Gaming they own as well:

AND they own Under the Fun Sports Link from above: DONBEST.com - serves as FUN Sports’ sports
information service, which provides real-time information on the Internet, including live odds, major line
move alerts, urgent messages, injury reports and statistical reports—a must-have for all US sports
enthusiasts.

OK, now, how do we leverage this?

One of the right wing christian coalition groups tried to protest the purchase of the Braves by Liberty Media. It was a story here in Atlanta for about 2 days. Don't remember what LM and MLB defense/reasoning was.

I am going to do more in depth research later, I do re-call
reading of events staged by the Braves, I think last year.

They involved "Faith Day" which were events about family values and such.

They were initially involved the FoF however, the FoF was not allowed to set up a booth at the second.

A brief story:

Additionally, a few of the Braves are associated with FoF.

I don't get your surprise at this. They own lawful internet gambling businesses, such as Worldwinner, a business that you promised us is a legal skill games supplier. They don't own unlawful gambling businesses we assume. Are you surprised that they would be against unlawful gambling business, or does something else make you say wow?

No, the WOW is owning don west . com, a company that is in the odds making / line business, uh, sports betting if you will.

See the list of business', www.donwest.com (http://www.donwest.com)

BTW, MLB and friends in sports are against ALL gambling except fantasy and as Rep. Goodlatte said in the hearing the other day, that is NOT gambling.

Skill wagering is gambling, I never said it was not.

There is a very unfair line being drawn in the sand right now. It's the cherry picking that is happening that is so bothersome. The sports league say fantasy sports are ok and certain "skill games" (that OBG mentioned), yet the sports league send out letters that online poker and backgammon etc. would lead us down a slippery slope.

Some politicians say that lotteries and horse racing are ok, but online poker is not.

I think you mean donbest. They didn't seem to be into anything unlawful at the site I saw. Why are you saying there is something shady here; is there another site?

They are against unlawful gambling, not all gambling.

Sorry, yes, Don Best.

Never said it is illegal either, you really are frosted.

I would explain the point to you, but, you first need to lay off the ice cream and cure the brain freeze.

"Legal" has always been irrelevant to MLB. They banned Willie Mays from having any MLB involvement after taking a job as a casino greeter in AC after he retired.

Edit. Removed HoF reference. The incident occurred after his induction.
