so i've never been much of a watch person but the last days watch threads got me a bit interested and i started to look around for a watch that would appeal to me. so finally i found a movado that i really liked, i guess its the minimalistic feel that struck a cord with me. anyways my gf thought that the baller version with diamonds was unnecessary /images/graemlins/confused.gif bbv help me !!

The average person looks at his watch 300 times a day. That seems excessive to me, and I have an addictive personality. Why not get one of those real old gold round timepieces that they used back 100 years ago, that way you take it out of your pocket only when you need it?

I have the same movado as posted. Not the baller one but the plain boring.

I believe I payed $1200 or so for it last year.

Depending on your price range, you should go with a rolly. You cant get a very nice one, with a diamond on the 12 for a couple G's.

i have the "boring stock" version. to be honest i dont even really feel comfortable wearing that in everyday situations, i cant imagine rocking it with a ton of diamonds in it.

it is a nice watch to wear to go out though. i am not like a super flashy dressy, so it fits me just right. i think id like to get a new nice watch for everyday walking around situations though. something more sporty/casual.
