Good play. If villain made the top pair then you have 3-k and 3-A to beat him. and the 9 hearts to make the nut flush. 15 outs total. If you made that play by putting him on the J then good read.

i like it but arent AJ and KJ very likely in which case thats 3 less outs?

If our opponent knows what he is doing then they usually have a set or a combo draw (JTh, JQh, 45h, 56h) here. We need to raise the flop as we have FE (most donk bets are weak) and we usually buy ourselves a free card if he calls. When he shoves we need 36% equity to call even if he only takes this line with the hands I listed above and 22 or 33. We have 38% equity so its an easy call. If he has AJ or KJ ever here then great.
