against some ill bet the turn, against some i'll c/c against some i'll crai. As long as you don't fold i can't see anything being too bad

ORLY, do you play live in Bristol ever? Play any of the GBPT events?

Against this guy I like a bet on the turn so that way we can dictate the size of the pot. As played Im going to crai because I really dont want to c/c and have to fold to a river blank. It is also going to be a little awkward now to get some cash into that pot if you hit any of your outs I think.

Yeah I like a turn bet a lot too, he's not gonna have top pair every time so if we can get him off like 66 it'd be lovely. As played, stacks are about right for a crai and embrace the variance.

I bet this turn like 95% of the time.
I also like a CRAIS as played.

Are we CRAI because we have a decent amount of FE and his turn bet doesn't mean TP, thus we are pushing him off other marginal holdings? Because if he has TP then is unlikely to fold and hence we are getting it in as a 30/70 dog.

And I've played Gala a few times US - It's really nice there, they recently hosted £300, £1.5k and £2.5k events there, so its good enough. There is normally a £100 cash game, pot limit tho, although apparently most pots get maxed out...

Hello Henry.

He must have some fold equity as alot of player will think you've c.bet with nothing and seen weakness in your check, so they too could make the turn bet wth nothing - I'd say at least 15% of the time this happens on the tables I play he's got nothing or a weak holding.

If you call then your implied odds (assuming he has top pair and will put all his chips in with it) aren't enough to cover the flush, but if you're A or K is good for an out then it's almost even, however he's more likely to have AQ or KQ than QT or QJ, so the AK might not be outs.

Tough call, I'd probably push in this scenario, but I think you'd benefit from betting out on the turn.

Against an aggressive opponent who floats a lot I CRAI. Otherwise I almost always bet turn.
