Hi, I'm very new to NL, trying to learn the basics reading the '2+2 NL Anthology'. Villain here is complete unknown. I'd like to get your thoughts on every street, if I should bet, bet sizeing( especially river). On the river tha board might look kinda scary even for a CS, so I made a weak blocking/value bet, that I don't really like.

Since MP2 is very passive, I have no idea what he has. We have trips with a crap kicker, but we tie with T3-4, T6-8 because our kicker doesn't play against those hands.

It is very likely that you are being called by Jx, but of course a straight (draw) is possible. The flush draw is less likely IMO, since it wasn't there on the flop. I think I c/c anything up to a psb on the river, because someone with AJ,KJ might still bet here or Qx that missed the straight or J9.
