What was your reasoning for this move? Why not Cbet the flop esp. since its drawy and has an overcard? I dont see much that will laydown here. Sorry bud, spew.

This line is really bad IMO.


I do not like your line either, and do not see what hands you are trying to push him off. Call the turn bet and check the river.

I was just trying out some different plays on the river, opinions + reviewing this hand helped me realize that I generally have more value just taking the showdown.

keep in mind that the 20/18 is 3betting from the small blind. his range is not just TT+ and AK. AQ can take this line (and a lot of other AX if he thinks hero is stealing) because he thinks hero can bluff his smaller pair here.
