Villain is pretty active - about 30/10 and a shortie - I really think I butchered this one so help would be great...

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

I would tend to raise this one up pf even OOP with limpers like this. Otherwise its pretty hard to range villan on this board.

Otherwise I'm playing as above but 1/2pot bf river. He could so easily be chasing with a worse J.

I'd c/c the river, but I'd still say you are ahead here.
A raise pre flop to $.50 wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world especially with the three limpers in front of you.

If your not raising AJs here your losing value. You cant be endlessly scared of shortstacks pushing. I have a friend who is a very good short stacker and he takes advantage of situations. Most short stackers are not that good but some will take advantage of someone being scared to raise in a situation like this.

Raise it up PF to ~$1. Call push from MP or CO. I really don't think you need to worry about that though. MP might shove but that's a good outcome IMO. As played on the flop this is obviously a great result. Full pot is good against multiple opponents. The only draws out there which might call are wheels. Mostly small/middle pairs, or dominated Jack, a five, etc.

Bet a little more on turn to set up value shove on river. Don't think Queen changes anything, KQ maybe got there that's about it. I don't like a King, 4, 6, 3, that much on river and may check/call a few of them. The nine is irrelevent IMO, if he plays KT like this he can have my stack. J9 got there, nothing else. Shove for value or check to induce a push and call if you think he's aggro enough to push air. Both are standard, depends.
