Didn't have any read on villain (UTG) , proceeded cautiously after the flop because i think he was trying to slowplay aces on me. Was I too cautious ?

that's really really bad. 3-bet pf. 3-bet flop, dont minraise, lead turn, vbet river.

I played a decent session but screwed this particular hand (and the one I'm about to post) up. Damn I feel like a fool , thx for the feedback though

No, you did not; you played it wrong on every street. Cold calling a raise PF with KK is horrible, you have to 3bet it.
Min raising flop is aweful (min raising in general is very, very bad). Bet turn and bet river. Don't be weak-tight.

You need to 3-bet to roughly 1.4 pre-flop. After that the hand plays totally different.

As played, if you are going to raise, then make a real raise. Min-raising gives your opponent good odds to draw.

I also would have bet turn because you need to protect your hand. Fold if check raised.

Checking behind on river is fine. Pot should have been larger from previous streets.

Yeah, I think you need to value bet the river since pretty much anything that's beating you is going to lead out.
