Havent seen villain play many
hands, and when he did he seemed to play them quite passively.

What is the best move in this situation. I put villain on AJ+ here. Do we raise here, or call?

I would raise to ~2$.
Because most villains on nl10 wont lay down good aces on a flop reraise. And you have to protect against his 5 outs.

Raise to more like $3 and call a push

I don't think 2 is enough. He's gonna call a raise to 3 with any ace, and if he folds.. we probably didn't want him to call since he'd only put money in if he made a better hand than ours (KK hitting set or something)

any stats on players?
his bet smells like a probe IMO. Couldn't put him on an A for sure here, but likely JJ+. With that in mind, i agree with toxic on the bet size, but for different reasons. Around 2 - 2.50 works fine.
