Wait, so you bet $4.5 and he raised? It's a weird converter cause it says Hero preflop and BB postflop. If you led flop, I would call and check/raise on the turn.

my std is shove, but i think this is an area of my game that could use more work.

Shoving here is standard. You will see this line from draws and overpairs often enough.

KK and AA probably not limping preflop unless they planned to limp-raise. That means you're main concern is 66 and 77. Most players folding deuces, but still there to consider. 67 only a possibility for an alcoholic here.
Preflop - I love your strong play.
Commitment on the flop...go for it. you need a reason not to push and the threat of 66 77 doesn't do it for me here.

I am definitely for shoving like I said before, but I argy I think your range is a little off. Im not sure why you think people fold 22 here, if they do, then its incorrect. Assuming villain was 100 bb's deep, set mining is most definitely correct here. 67's is also a definite possibility. The reason I say shove is that even though 22, 66, 77, and 67s are in his range, so are lots of draws and overpairs, and the combos of hands we beat simply out weigh the combos of hands we lose to.

i mentioned those hands as possibilities, but if you're putting more than about 10 percent on something like 67, you're probably inaccurate. limp and then call raise to 5bb with 67 borders ridiculous. please let me know where this type of play is considered regular haha.

Shove with semi-fistpump. Shorties do this with any overpair and it could easily be a draw of some sort. This is particularly profitable if you've been c-betting a lot. Villain's often tell themselves that you can't have a hand so they raise and when you shove suddenly they're commited and you see all sorts of hands calling here.
