I'm thinking I should have folded or 3bet the flop. Thoughts?

Sine you have the As, he can't have a hand like AQs or AJs. This would either mean a made hand-by the river you beat no UTG raising hands- or a huge draw like QTs, which beats you.

You pretty much beat nothing here so nice fold.

This deep I think you played it well. Just so we're all on the same page though - 100BB or smaller effective stacks we're felting this on the flop after the 3bet PF right?

With 100bb stack's definitely 'felting' it on this flop. Wasnt sure what to do with effective 140bb stacks though.

I don't really like RR-ing PF given stacks. Given our opponent, AK, position, and stacks, I'm not comfortable playing a large pot here. And that's pretty much what you did, is commit yourself to playing a large pot given PF/flop action. I think this hand is more geared towards a medium pot.

I would check this flop- think about his calling range PF- I mean, I doubt he's calling with stuff like AJ or KQ and the like. I check for pot control. But as stated, I don't mind flatting PF.

I think you have to decide on the flop if you're playing a big pot or not. After you called, I would probably play for stacks. Your entire play is almost contradictory here, if that makes sense. You build yourself up for a large pot and lots of action and yet back down when committment comes.

Think from the start on the current situation. Don't auto RR AK pf because it's what 2p2 tells you to do.
