Villian was 27/13/2.7 after 195 hands. This has probably been gone over a million times, but should I always be taking this to the felt after 3 betting PF? I feared JJ or a weirdly played AA.

As an aside, assuming we have decided to go to the felt, can we just call here and then get villain to shove the turn just incase he was on some weird bluff and is folding to a 3bet (I realise this is very unlikey, but just wondering)?

It doesn't really matter if we call and a scare card comes because villain would not fold a FD/OESD on the flop anyway.

I'd likely fold flop to be honest. his 3 bet calling range + flop check-raise range + stack sizes means his range probably crushes ours and it's likely we're drawing to a split at best here. The only hands we beat here is ace queen and maybe KdQd but I don't think you'll see these hands as often as AK, JJ, or 88. 100bb's this is probably an easy shove but with stack sizes where they are at I think I could find a fold here.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 51.780% 38.11% 13.67% 7923 2842.00 { AhKh }
Hand 1: 48.220% 34.55% 13.67% 7183 2842.00 { JJ, 88, AQs+, KdQd, AQo+

well after plugging into pokerstove the range I think villain would have here, it's a close shove and is probably +EV with the dead money in the pot. That being said if he would call a 3bet with AA or AJ, this becomes even tougher. Villain probably has very little fold equity but the only way to exploit that would be to 3bet shove flop. I'd shove and have reload button ready.

I agree entirely. Shoving is a bit overkill because he's probably not gonna have KdQd here, so we can call and let him shove the river to maximize value against his range. You can't fold here though.
