What did he hit on the river? Or could this somehow be a slowplayed 2? WTF? What's my play?

Any other reads? Has he done this before?

No other reads...I don't think I've really had any tough hands with him before.

Looks like a missed draw to me... Have you seen him bluff at all lately? I think trip 2s (or more likely quad 2s) raise turn when you've shown you have a hand (most likely an ace) and I don't think 55 calls the flop. I suppose it could be A2/A5 but it's such a strange line I think I'd pay off here.

EDIT: Actually this could very well be 45/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

This is a fold against an unknown. I have paid people off my first few thousand hands when they took lines like this. Eventually I learned that people doing this have better hands like 95% of the time and are trying to get value, afraid you will check river for whatever reason.

I am honestly having trouble finding a fold. He played it like a weak ace, and I've seen people donk like this with the missed FD or SD.

If he has a 2, then he did a good job at throwing us off.

Oh hey, that hand actually makes some sense.

Yeah once I thought of that I think it weighs this more towards a fold until you've seen him bluff missed draws... But I probably would have called in the heat of the moment.

I instantly call this and take a note.

The only thing that makes sense is 55/22/A2 or maybe 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif4/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

A 32/12 calling out of the small blind? This is a worse ace a real lot of the time. I'd call him.

This is a fold until you know he can do this with missed draws. Villains so rarely take this line with one pair hands. This could be a two that is afraid you will check behind. This can be 45 spades, 56 spades, 57 spades.

Please fold this. Villains that call call and then bet out are never bluffing. Could be 22/AA/A5.

I've called rivers like this and lose almost EVERY time.

Yea I have had to call river a decent amount of times before I realized it is not profitable to do so. I would get stubborn, start cursing and ask myself what the [censored] does villain play like this? Then he shows me something that was played pretty poorly, but guess what? It was still a better hand than mine.

you've shown strength twice, villain isnt doing this with a weak A (even a 32/12 probably tries to get to a showdown as cheap as possible with that hand)

This is either a missed draw (no reads to think this is the case)or a hand that beats you
