That's my standard bet here. What do you think about shoving?

Actually, that's pretty sexxy and is probably a better bet and you'll get more value out of a 7 that way imo.

Zeebo's theorem. Villain never folds a full house. Push. If he doesn't have a full house, he's folding to any reasonable bet.

Agreed. If he has a 7 he is calling for sure.

Shoving's the best play. He'll probably call w/the 7 and maybe even a T or some other PP thinking you missed the flushdraw and are bluffing.

1/2 pot

The question you have to ask is, "What percentage of hands is he calling a $9-11 bet with but folding to a shove?" I'm not sure there are many hands that fall into that category, so shoving is better.

Well, I thought that pocket pairs and random tens might fit into that category. In this case, I was wrong about that.

Results:

I shoved, he tanked and called with T/images/graemlins/heart.gif 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, evening me up for the session /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I posted this because I almost never overbet-shove on the river. I thought this was a good time for it.

The exact wording of my note is "value bet the piss out of him with anything" but he left the table before I got to play another hand with him /images/graemlins/frown.gif.
