No reads on villain. With the raise and push, I don't find any hand that I beat other than a complete bluff or an 8 of any kind. Thoughts?

Calling his flopraise and checking the turn while being OOP and having a marginal overpair just sucks IMO. There are just lots of overpairs, full houses, trips beating you. You only beat A8 or a flushdraw. Do you think he will play this last two this way?

If you are going to call the flop, I'd say you have to bet the turn for like $3.5. But I prefer folding on the flop given your marginal overpair AND your position.

As played fold turn.

I'd call all day. Villian limped OTB and would have raised > 99. Numbers are against a full boat at this point. Holdings are most likely K8, A8. Call, call, call. Don't think villian would play a boat like this, given the limp pre flop. But one thing to fix, I lead out on turn.

There are 3 hands that i can see here: Ad2d, 88, 22. I mean if he's a decent player, but he might not be so expect to see anything like A8, K8.

But i think your decision sould be made on the flop. Either push the flop or fold your hand right there.
