It just feels.....wrong...calling such a huge bet with no read.....and then betting out into what could easily be a trap....is this standard when it's still the first round?

The guy's chatting it up in the box about how much he won last week....that's about all i got for a read....

Push preflop. He's not very deep at all and you have AKs which is a monster anywhere, and the nuts in 2nl.

I've never played 2NL, but I'd expect that reraising pre-flop is best and just get it all-in pre-flop if you can.

1.74 dollar = 87 BB. So he's not undeep as some people suggest.

He raises to 11BB, which is quite insane. So 3betting to like 33BB makes it very hard to fold to a shove. But I guess I'd 3bet and call a shove. You have good equity against most hands. I don't like shoving yourself, since I think maniaks shove quite light (with stuff like K8o), but that doesn't necessarily mean they call shoves light.

If you don't feel comfortable playing AK against this guy, fold. But it's a huge leak. You should 3bet and call a shove.
