3-bet pots play a little differently than a regular raised pot, so this isn't just a standard c-bet.

The answer to this is a little villain dependent. What is his CO raising range, and what is his 3-bet calling range? To me this looks generally like a mid pocket pair the way he has played it, and a mid PP is NEVER folding here. Which makes the c-bet not look so hot.

That said, I'll make this c-bet a decent portion of the time, particularly against villains who will raise and call 3-bets light. So I think its pretty opponent specific.

If villain is tight, I take the free card in position.

But as played, fold. Looks like 88-99

i almost always take a free card here in a 3 bet pot... unlikely that villain has AJ or AQ and much more likely are pairs 10 10 or less

Readless bet here 100% unless the board is really really bad like 789s or something. He could just be set mining or have some whiffed overs. If he was a really snug player then I may check/fold the flop and give him credit for a decent PP. Otherwise you can't wimp out on these type flops because you will never get paid when you have JJ-AA.

Against an unknown this is a c-bet 100% of the time. If this has been happening alot to you recently then youre probably just running into the upper part of people's ranges.

as long as villain is calling 3bets with more than just 88+ this cbet is fine, youre probably just running into some hands. I would make your cbet smaller in a 3bet pot, no need to bet this much as you can get the money in by betting smaller when you have AA KK QQ. Bet 1/2 to 3/5 of the pot in these situations, just make sure you do the same with big overpairs and flopped sets.
