Hey it's not that tough a spot but it's a situation I am running into regularly... Should I just fold to his bet?? Raise then shut down if called or reraised?? or float and reevaluate the turn?

It is just a small bet I hate folding here but this situation is happening way too often and I find they often have second or top pair.

do you have any reads? I would usually pop it up to 6 or so and then shut down.

The other line I may take is to call,, let the turn brick and then bet/raise.

Folding is correct with a read. Without a read, more often than not this weak donking is a weak hand.

i generally fold here. alot of weak hands like 67 will call your raise anyway, along with all the the other pair+gs, pair+fd, overs+fd, Tx, 77,99, A8 n stuff. i would prefer raising on a dry board where there are less reasons for him to call your raise.

if you really wanna play back i prefer floating and possibly double barreling to fold out all the weakk pair+draw type hands.

fold. can't see any positives in raising here. hate these spots because it feels so weak.

Sorry I made my advice backwards. Folding is correct without a read obviously. I apologize for any confusion.
