bet the flop in hand two. why check?

because i'm oop in a 4-way pot with a supernit behind me. i wanted to see what he and the other players would do. i think in retrospect my line is prob. worse than bet/folding though, so i guess that makes it awful.

I am curious about hand 2. How nitty is UTG? Is his pfr range like 22+,AJ+,KQ or nittier? The BB looks like the type that minbets all the time, so his bet means nothing. Once UTG calls, I am ruling out he has a (big) overpair, because he'd probably raise. So we probably have the best hand, but a lot of turn cards are bad for us.

So considering all this, what do people think about a c/r?
Betting doesn't seem correct since, we are OOP to a nitty UTG raiser in a multiway pot. C/c isn't going to make us happy, because of all the bad turn cards. C/f is too weak IMO.

a lot of turns are bad for sure in hand 2. c/r'ing is prob. worse than bet/folding, but i dunno. i decided to call flop with the intention of leading a safe turn, and i deemed the 8s safe enough. we checked it down and nit showed KK. i should've shoved the river prob. (as a bluff). i thought he might show up with Axcc or maybe even AK, and i didn't think he would try to push me off my hand therefore allowing me to show down. any thoughts on hands 1 and 3?
