Hi there,
this is my first post here and I hope im doing it not that bad.
Villain just sat down 2 rounds ago,so no Reads/stats available.
I really felt kinda lost in this one, and dont know if I played it well vs unknown with the sense of protecting my hand/getting value out of Qx or 4Flush-Hands. Whats my line in this spots vs unknown?

MP: $23.65

BTN: $15.12
SB: $18.97
BB: $7.88
UTG: $20.15

Pre-Flop: Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif A/images/graemlins/spade.gif dealt to Hero (CO)
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $1</font>, BTN calls $1, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.35) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $2.25</font>, BTN calls $2.25

Turn: ($6.85) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $4.75</font>, BTN calls $4.75

River: ($16.35) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $7.75</font>, BTN calls $7.12 and is All-In

I really feel that there is so much overcalling with draws/mediocre Hands in this limit that i rarely pull the break in this spots...but i dunno if this is best?!
hope to get some help here.
regards.

uum, its hard to put someone on floped flush it happens so rarely, so i think your line on flop+turn is ok to charge draws, but i would c/c river, because it gives him a chance to bluff a missed draw

Play would be ok if he wasn't shortstacked. Because of his turn call I'm not putting him on the flush, unless he is slowplaying. In this situation I c/c river.
