I used Chop's 3bet HUD and there is a stat that for "donk betting."

If a player does this &lt;20% of the time it usually is a monster, &gt;50 and I know he's messing around.

Do you have vpip/pfr/agg #s on these guys?

In my experience, some people will donks 1/2 psb w/ middle pair or some kind of draw. They might do it again, but almost never on the river again with a hand you beat.

I dont have stats here. So we always call the flop with position and see what they do on the turn?

You could also fold pf or raise more than 4bb pf....
