Not really sure what the villains limping range is but I am going to assume it includes suited connectors and the likes. Was 50/50 about value betting river, anyone thinks a check is better or is this a clear vb spot?

He has played this hand strangely and I'm not sure what he has, but I would check the river. Actually, after he's called bets on both the flop and the turn, I would have been concerned enough about a check raise on the river to check. Some players love to do that.

Also your hand isn't really that strong with 2nd pair.
