He's pretty nitty, so despite aggro factor, i'm not sure he'd do this with a draw, and I'm not sure that I have much FE here with the size of his raise. If we call here whats the plan for the rest of the hand?

I think this a fold. I agree that you don't have much folding equity. And you're often behind here.

When he check raises to pot he's committed to this hand. You made a good fold even though your hand looks good enough to see a turn and try to peel.
