Is this a fold? or should I call and shove a safe turn card or perhaps shove flop? The size of the raize feels like he's trying to push me of, perhaps two high diamond cards or a pocket pair. I can't see that he could have a duce unless ofcourse he has quads.

Villain is a nit and raises most of what he is playing. I think he would 3bet AA,KK,AKs preflop. So what is left is pocket pairs 77-QQ and maybe AKo, AQs.

I think he wouldn't reraise 77,AKo, AQs with no diamonds. That leaves 88-QQ,AdQd. Against that range we have 33% equity, so I think it's a fold.

I was thinking that he would call with any pp and AJs pf in addition to your range. And can we really put the villian on qq, JJ, 88 enough to make it unprofitable to call and shove a safe turn?

Has villain proved himself to have any brain matter? Is he the sort of player to pull a move once in a while? I say this because if I am playing a TAG who c-bets a lot I will sometimes c/r flops like this with air knowing that the TAG will have to fold most of the time.... Basically, I think you have to fold in this spot <u>unless</u> you think he might be c/r your c-bet with air.

I am playing quite nitty myself, like 16/13. This guy plays 10/8. That is like my UTG opening range, which is 22+,AJ+,KQ.
And that is IP. Considering that most people are looser IP than OOP, what do you think his calling range is OOP? I think it's not the best of his range (he would reraise that) and not the worst of his range (he would fold). This way I came to the range I gave above.

There are 2 reasons why his range may be wider.
1) He is so tight that he has trouble letting go of AK type of hands when he clearly should. I'd like to see that in a showdown before I assume this.
2) You are a cbet maniak and he is getting creative. But even if this is the case, he might still do this with a better hand then yours.
