does that mean you should never fold any second nut hands for 100bbs?

Don't fold KK preflop for 100BBs. What you do postflop is a bit different but as a rule of thumb no, you shouldn't fold the second nuts for 100BBs.

no..

4flush board you have the 2nd NF on the river and you value-bet/get CR'd. Dump it. Probably a million other examples.

The question is impossible to answer - folding kk preflop for 100BBs is one thing (and that shouldn't be a rule either despite 2+2 dogma to the contrary) - there are plenty of cases where the second nuts is garbage. It's like saying 'as a general rule you shouldn't fold when you have a good hand'.

I shouldn't have been so general here. I was thinking situations like getting check-raised holding 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif on a 8/images/graemlins/club.gif J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif J/images/graemlins/spade.gif K/images/graemlins/club.gif A/images/graemlins/club.gif board when I said this.
