No real reads on the guy except that he played few hands.

I figured that the min-raise on the turn was him hitting his flush but since I have a nut flush and have the odds to call. I guess my question is whether I should have seen this coming with the check on the flop or just chalk it up to a bad beat.

I CB a paired flop here everytime, but that's besides the point. Anyway, yeah the rest of the hand is fine the guy has less than 40bbs, if he has a FH so be it.

I would probably be cbetting on this flop since it's unlikely to hit them. Calling a minraise on the turn is ok because you're pretty sure that you have 9+6 outs (generously). You hit on the river so it's an easy call since it's a shortstack that shoved. You win this pot much more often than villan will have a FH.
