Villain is 45/28/1.1

Is this spewy to call against such a villain. I think I should have bet the turn but then didn't want to get check raised off my NFD by possible a weaker hand.

I think you should have bet the turn for two reasons. 1) You have a made hand and picked up a nice redraw and 2) you can check behind on the river if you miss your flush.

I sometimes check flop behind, as villain will call a bet with many better aces (and yes some worse as well). It also makes it easier to get value from Qx hands, and you control the size of the pot.

That said, your line aint bad given you call river and snigger when villain tables his JT.

I agree with this. If I had bet the turn and was raised is it a standard fold?
