Hi,

I'm asking for your help about two different hands which are worrying me. I don't think they're well played but I'm interested in your opinion, you experimented short handed holdem players :-) .

<u>1st Hand :</u>

1 st hand is standard, second hand im not sure, sometimes I drop it on the flop, almost always dropping it on the turn

fold turn on 2nd hand, first hand is indeed standard

Agreed with everyone on the second hand, drop it on the turn, no need to put that much money on the line with a mediocre hand.

The first hand, I'd like to see you bet less there and here's why. The button only had $31 to start with, so you put him all in with that bet. Is he likely to call with a draw? I doubt it. I think you just made a bet that forced him to play the hand correctly and thats -EV. Also that 9 only helped pocket 99's. Any other hand that it helped, was already ahead of you (86), so I don't fear that card at all. I'd like to see a bet more in the $14 range. See if he'll keep chasing, and also only leave him with $10 behind on the river, with a $50 pot on board. You're basically committing him and I think he's much more likely to put in money with an inferior hand this way.

1st hand is standard. Would help if we knew stats for the 2nd hand. Readless I'm dumping it on the turn. With this check on the river I'm expecting JJ/TT here quite a bit, but no way you fold him with what you have left by betting river.

how is the first hand standard....he's overbetting the pot. Obv fold turn on 2.
