I really can't see what this guy is checking with on the flop and then 4-beting with on the turn. That river bet looks like a value bet big time, it looks like he knows he's got you...Slow played kings maybe?

Probably a fold, don't think he is doing this with a worse hand.

Really curious to know what he had...

God forbid CO ever raise, this makes me think he has a PP or a mid/semi strong (possibly suited) A.

Turn is fine up until his re min raise I think we've established that yes, CO does prolly have set (77?). Though his min donk makes us call this.

i c/f river too, There are a lot of hands that now beat our weak 2pr. (22, 77, Ax(2pair, etc)

I would bet he limped with A rag and made a better 2 pair. Thats what it looks like, unless a set. Strange line for villian. either way I let him have it with that river bet.

I guess since villain is really passive, he could of easily limped with AK here as well as the other A rag hands that made 2 pair on the flop.

Nairb is probably right.

Even after the wierd 4-bet on the turn? What can we beat here besides an ace?

When he reraised to $8.50 on the turn, I think calling is the worst option. You have four outs to a full house so, on the river, you will hit only about one in twelve times.

I think you either shove or fold after the reraise to $8.50 on the turn. Based on his position as the CO, I think he played the flop the way a lot of players would with a set.

He was next to last to act after the flop and may have been afraid that if he raised, then the button might not have an A so he would fold, and then everyone else would fold also.

If he had a set then your bet on the turn was exactly what he wanted to see, so he started raising.

I would have folded when he raised to $8.50 unless I had seen him making a lot of late bluffs or raising with weak hands on the turn and river.
