To all winning Poker AND Blackjack players, Is Blackjack easier than Poker (in terms of making money)? From what I've heard, it is possible to master Blackjack in a matter of months. Despite making EASY money, you must deal with CASINO HEAT! I understand it has regular fluctuations just as any gambling game, but is it possible the fluctuations are to a lesser degree compared to poker( since you are not being outplayed ie. bluff, maniacs, etc.)?

The variance in blackjack is higher than poker. You cannot master Blackjack in a matter of months, that is what it takes to build a good basic foundation.

Poker's much easier. I don't have to leave my house.

Blackjack's variance makes poker's variance seem a CD accruing interest. You also need a bigger bankroll for blackjack, and unless you live in a 3rd world country, good games are hard to come by at low limits.

Well, I was never a winning blackjack player, but you certainly speak the truth. A bad run in poker is nothing compared to a bad run in blackjack, when it seems as if every hand is 14, 15 or 16 v. T and you always bust.

To put it another way, the bankroll required to earn $25 an hour in blackjack is like $10k, the bankroll required to earn that in poker is $2k (3 tabling $2-$4 limit) and you can do that from your home.

Blackjack is easy. If you tip the dealer they cheat for you.

I used all those sites quite heavily when I was playing full time (and TrackJack, and other scouting reports). Now I don't post, I just browse Advantage Player to see what Don S. is up too (and the Fight Club to keep up with Stalker).
