View Full Version : Playing a friend's bonus...what's a fair deal?

I don't post in the Zoo much but here goes.

A friend of mine started the 100% to $600 new player bonus on Eurobet (for people coming over to the PokerRoom network from the old Euro), but really dislikes the software and doesn't want to finish the bonus. He's about 100 pts in out of 6000 pts, and he has until the end of Feb to finish. Recently he suggested to me that I should clear his bonus. I had already cleared mine and I was probably going to play some hands on Euro anyway.

We have agreed that while I would be playing out of his money in the account, the money is NOT a loan and at the end of clearing the bonus he'll pay me my winnings or I'll pay him my losses. We also agree that I'll get 100% of whatever r*keb*ck (is that a reserved word here?) he accumulates during this time, as it is my money that is going to pay the rake.

The question is, what is an equitable way to split the $600 bonus? He says 50/50 but I think i should get at least 2/3rds, since I'm doing all the work.

All thoughts welcome.

Thanks.

bonus money is easy to come by right now. You should go to another site and get all the bonus. If you REALLY like eurobet them give him %20 of the bonus. In my opinion %20 is kind of screwing you anyway.

There is almost always pokerroom/skins bonii to do. I wouldnt take any less than 80% and thats being generous for all the work it is going to take you on that one.

It was his idea. Give him $10 for his trouble, but take most/all of it. It's not like you're asking him to use it.

Get your own account and avoid Eurotrash.

You should get whatever you clear IMO, assuming he doesn't want to play on the account
