Hi,
First let me apologize my German is not that good yet, so I am posting in English. Anyway I've just moved to Berlin and I am curious to where to find a game. Do the local casinos have tables? Are there clubs? If so does anyone have any information on the kind of stakes that the places spread? Also are tournaments held? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think I just made the exact same post. Perhaps it was deleted. Anyways I am also in Berlin and am interested in some live play. Is there really a 5/10 game with a 150 buy-in?? That's crazy.

Anyways I think home games are going to be your best option, but I don't know of any.

The buy ins in my post are the minimum buy ins!
There is no maximum buy in the Spielbank Berlin!

I know of a regular 1/2NL game that takes place most Fridays with no rake. You can PM me if you want some more info.

If you are looking for higher games (2/5, 5/10+) you can find them pretty easily, but more often than not they are held in shady places with some shady characters. Also, the rake is usually beyond ridiculous (10% up to €50, 5% with NO CAP, etc.)

As someone mentioned previously, the Spielbank Berlin is your best bet for a legal game. They play 5/10NL every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. The rake is €10 for every pot that is over €100. If the pot does not reach €100, then there is no rake taken.
