One reality is where you believe your thoughts to be truth; you believe your ego to be your self. The other reality is where you don't think of yourself as separate, like you have thoughts and ideas but you don't identify exclusively with them. So one ego, two no ego.

Which reality is happier and why?

I'm not sure number 2 is possible. Once you are conscious of your thoughts you will identify yourself with them.

Based on my drug experiences, I think anything is possible. I think many of the things we take for granted about the human ego and consciousness are actually pretty variable.

Yeah you identify with them but since they are just blips of energy how can you solely identify with them when you know that?
