Say you raise w/ A8s and it gets 3 bet and capped. The cap means only AA/KK. What pot odds do you need to call 2 cold here?

Your equity is 12% against AA and 32% against KK. There are twice as many ways to get KK as AA, so if you think these were equally likely beforehand, you now think you have about a 25% chance of winning. If this was heads-up all-in, you'd need 6 bets in the pot to call.

In a real game, you'd call here only if you think the cap might be weaker. Only flops with two 8's and no King, two Aces, or three cards matching your suit, could justify a call under your assumptions. Your 25% chance of winning requires you to stay to the river, which will cost a lot more than 2 small bets.
