I just registered at the Omni Shoreham for the PPA event.

I could only get the nights of the 21, 22, and 23. The 24 and 25 were sold out. We are actually staying until Saturday, the 27.

The alternative that the lady at the Omni suggested, the Marriot Wardham Park, was also booked up.

Where is a good reasonable place to stay after we get the boot from the Omni Shoreham on the 23? I am renting a car and we are going to go sightseeing the last couple of days. But I guess I need to be able to come into town for PPA events on the 24. I hear the morning traffic is akin to LA.

Any suggestions on outlying hotels? Is there train/bus service worth considering around DC?

Mrs Fish is now going to kick my butt for procrastinating. Please help me. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I have won at priceline so many times. That is not a gambool.

Room at another inn. /images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I booked into the Bethesda Hyatt Regency for our final three nights. It is located on the Red Line Metro which also runs right by the Omni Shoreham. Should be no problem getting to the events.

Now that you have a reservation, use priceline to gambool and if you get lucky, just cancel the other one.

I see you've booked, but the train is fairly solid and gets you to all sorts of places.

Shout with questions.
