Is he trying to push me off this hand, or his playing for value with like a set or two pair?

Against a suspected table bully, I guess you have to do this, but that turn min-checkraise sure as hell is trappy looking (hopefully Villain knows this and that's the impression he wants to give), and I also hate seeing that river bomb and don't care either for the card that fell.

Without the little tidbit of a read i have to dump this hand on the river to an unknown, right?

i would fold regardless. its pretty rare that this is someone trying to push you off of a hand. usually if someone wants to do that, they'll do it much earlier in the hand as opposed to being docile oop and then donking into you on the river.

Yeah, I think so. That flop check-call/turn min-checkraise/river push sequence is very scary. It's the way many, many players handle their big flopped or turned hands.

Plus, the river card just handed some turn semibluffs (such as Kc6c) the best hand. There's not much to hope for anymore except a worse top pair.

I think if you're going to bet the turn that it should be somewhere between a 3/4 pot bet and a pot sized bet. There is a chance he flopped a set or has a hand like A-6 or A-3. I think you call his turn raise and hope to check it down on the river.
