Table Selection

I've searched a lot, but have been unable to find a good article on table selection.
I'm sure they exist, can anyone help me look?

I'd like a couple different ones if possible.

There is one floating around right now that is a poll type, but it's asking which is better, and i really need information.

There are a few different aspects of table selection. And to be honest, there is no perfect way to do it. That thread should be good for the final part of table selection when its time to sit down.
