villain had just sat down, no reads...sorry if this is a standard bad beat but this is my 1st hand post ever. felt kind of dumb after this hand, so wanted to see what you all think.

i guess in retrospect i should have given him credit for an ace when he called my 3bet pf, and then credit for ace of spades when he called my turn bet, c/f river..

Read the sticky at the top of the page: "A guide to good posting at uNL".

Yeah you got a little carried away but villain will not always slowplay AA, hit top set and slowplay, turn the nfd as well and slowplay only to hit his gin card. The deck was stacked against you every step of the way. You did well.
