These don't work at 3/6.

Just check the turn and take your half price card, you know he isn't folding. If you had fired the river he may have folded, but the average 3/6 player is not leading the flop, and then folding to a turn bet.

If I decided to take an aggressive line on the flop in this hand, I probably would have led again on the river, hoping finally to fold out AK/AQ.

A line that begins with a flop lead seems kind of pointless, since Villain is going to auto-bet if checked to. However, sometimes a flop lead followed by a turn lead will work, if Villain just has overcards.

Check-calling until you catch is another option.

I don't think there really is a standard line here.

Im a little confused because I have problems calling to the river with ace high. When should I be calling to the river with ace high???

This is so read dependant. If he's a folder, sure. If he's not, then no. A TAG will probably believe you have a piece of the board since you're playing the role of an any suited openlimping fish.
