I just started a few days ago a buyapiece(or backing as people on 2p2 refer to it) to start grinding nl10-nl25..I've always played micro cash but I think this will really help me try to be motivated enough to really improve my game. I'm hoping to be more active in posting here(hands, reviewing hands, watching vids, etc.) So i guess my goal is half poker half stay more active in 2p2 and motivate myself to improve

these are almost my exact goals. I'm depositing a br for 50nl and I'm cutting my job down to part time.

its going to be fun taking a shot at being "pro". I did it one month when I was on vaction playing 10nl and 25nl.


p.s. I almost achieved my goals last month. I only missed the three miles in 25 minutes by five minutes. I'm proud of it!

That's what I was thinking. if you run at 15 PTBB / 100, you'll be rolled for NL25 (at least the 15 BI you reference) in 10k hands, not 100k.

1) No tilt plays. I dumped 5 buy-ins in Sept when I tilted.

2) 1K goal. So mostly from 25nl but I'll take 1 buy-in shots of 50nl when I hit 600$

3) Find some one reputable (and a decent player) to swap videos with.

4) back to the gym to lose some fat and get ripped again.

5) Study more (study poker) Finish at least 1 book this month.

13 tables of 50NL = like 1100 hands/hr. So 11$/hr per each PTBB/100, since 1 PTBB/100 at 50NL = $1.

Assuming you play 150 hours a month, at least, and you wanna make $6K, you gotta be making $40/hr over those 150 hours. Rakeback should add like $15 to your rate, so you really gotta be doing $25ish/hr with poker alone. As we calculated above, you gotta be running just a bit over 2PTBB/100 in order to achieve the said $25/hr.
