I hadn't heard of the film until recently, but understand it's very well known in Germany.

is just some biographic flic about some girl running away from home doing drugs and selling her body for seeeecks.

the is pictures as beeing total [censored] up so you cann call it an anti-drugs movie.

I was shown the movie in school (late 90s when I was like 15 years old) as drug prevention.

From today point of view the movie just shows how you can piss your life away in the 80s. I mean how the hell does heroin anymore?

Reading that book in school was a waste of time. I can only assume the film sucks, too.

havn't seen the movie. but the book is A+.
