I have a lot of trouble playing 3bet pots out of position. Can you guys give me some advice?

Pretty easy, fire about 5/8 pot on the flop. You get all Ax combos to fold, some mid-pairs might fold and if called you have equity to draw out versus their entire range. If the turn card is J through A I will normally fire a second barrel as a bluff or for value and obviously call a push if the K or A hits.

Sometimes you can check the flop but you have to balance this with AA and KK so villains can't exploit you

The only time I won't fire a second round is if villain is a calling station, and sometimes I won't even fire on a flop like QJ9 that probably hit them

Bet like you have an overpair. Hope he folds. I usually don't fire a second barrel, but I have been thinking about trying it lately.

Here's a link to my advice. It's certainly not consensus here and I'm told people don't 3-bet light so take it for what its worth.

I think you have to fire around $6 here.

Unless you two have a history, villain should be weary of an overpair and will dump any Ax-type hands.
