Ok, how bad was this?
No serious reads on this guy, only that he has played very loose and pushing other out of pots.

preflop is good

flop:
i dont know, does he play loose or is he aggressive, or both?
If your read indicates, that he'll call overbets on the flop, especially ones which put him allin, then it's fine.

If your read doesnt indicate that, i'd play it different.
I'd bet around 23$, just because donks dont look too much on stack sizes. If he pushes it's and easy call.

I think the hand worked out fine for you.
If he got a made flush you got outs, if he got toppair, you are ahead, if he got a pair+FD, then it's a coinflip.
