Flop: ($1.70) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
SB bets $1.25, Hero calls $1.25

SB bets $2.65, Hero calls $2.65

River: ($9.50) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero????

Feels a bit messy. I called the pfr as the SB had raised me off my BB the last two rounds running... I figured QJx was strong enough to call with.

I feel bit edgy about this hand as although I hit my draw, the turn card completed a FD and the river doubled up.

Check or bet?

$5 reasonable bet? Any problems with hand to that point?

Either your stats are wrong or he's raising far too much.

I'd probably just fold/3bet pf (probably 3b since it's 3 handed)
Raise the flop, you have a nice draw and 2 overs. a FD is a small part of his range here.

Bet the river ($4-6.5) and spew in your mouth a little of he c/r river

i bet 6ish.

i heavily consider raising turn/calling a shove.

I'd bet about 6.

I like Orange's suggestion about the turn. I actually rarely do this but raising the turn could be interesting - Bluffing the scare K and scare flush card while still having the OESD.

Raising the turn is a must.

Yeah, I think so too. Villain probably doesn't have a flush (and if he does, I guess those are the breaks), but any spade in his hand gives him 9 outs.

It seems like this is a spot where protection is an issue, and since there's a decent chance of getting called (or even 3-bet) by some worse hands, the raise should be for value, too.
