Villain is 17/17 over 36 hands, which isn't too helpful.

These type of hands come up often but I also seem to feel lost when I don't hit. Do I 4bet PF? Raise the flop? Or just let it go? I didn't 4bet PF because I don't want the pot size to get out of control, but with a larger sample on this guy, I probably could've made a more confident move.

Help?

Fold.

You can 4bet pre-flop. I 4bet pre-flop most times OOP and sometimes IP.

Also if he 3bets a lot and always c-bets calling and floating or shoving this flop could be good.

How big of a 4bet would you make PF? My flop play would be a little bit easier if I had more hands on this guy.

I vary it....but with AK I generally make it like 25-30. I want plenty of FE and I feel a raise this size may actually have more FE than pushing. Then if he pushes it's an easy call. If he just calls you, you don't put any more money in unless you hit a hand.

25 is too big imo. i prefer like 17

I like to raise a bit more cause I wanna really decrease the chance of just getting called and then seeing a flop with the pot being $35 and having like $42, $43 left in stack. By raiasing that bit more I feel like it generally ends up all-in pre-flop or he folds to the 4bet.

How bad do you think that really is?

Then push preflop, which is my preference when 4betting.

OP: as played, just fold.
