Hi guys, first time poster.
Been reading the boards for a good while trying to improve my game, but have been taking a bit of a savaging lately, and am starting to question some of my plays.
Playing NL10 at the moment, as I figure if I can't beat this then I might as well walk...

History aside, had this situation tonight:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($10.71)
Button ($9)
SB ($12.06)
BB ($4.90)
UTG ($2.40)
UTG+1 ($1.70)
Hero ($4.61)
MP2 ($2.15)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.4</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB calls $0.35, BB calls $0.30.

Flop: ($1.20) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $0.35</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $3.10, BB raises to $4.50 (All-In), Hero raises to $4.21 (All-In)</font>, SB calls $1.40.

Turn: ($7.05) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

River: ($7.05) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

Final Pot: $7.05

Positionally was it a bit dodgy to raise 55 from here? I was rather taken aback by the check-raise from the SB on the flop, but really wasn't expecting any sort of pocket pair given the lack of a reraise preflop.

Given how I've handled this hand, do I need to hit the books again?

The HH makes no sense, what happened to BB? What happened to SB $12.06 stack?

Anyway, PF raise is fine and on the flop your goal is to find the best way to get your money all in. If you got it all in and got beat thats a cooler, you played it fine.

Edit: BTW, there's a full-ring forum.

Sorry, just noticed that now, the converter seems to have botched it; I'll edit.
After the SB reraise, the BB went all-in, as did I.

Didn't notice the FR forum, will post there next time!

If you flop a monster hand like this, get all your money in asap (without scaring off everyone if possible). You played fine.
