Villain is 50/5/1.5 over 70 hands, I hadn't really gotten any specific reads on him yet though. I am really lost here though. It feels like he either limped KK/AA, or I'm way behind to a set. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

In this spot I generally felt it because guys like this as you said do do things like limp big pairs and things like that, and sometimes they think TPTK is the nuts or something. The other thing is when fish hit a legitimate monster like a set, I see all sort of ridiculous slowplaying and trickery. Basically, I felt and take note.

Yeah, i get it in too. the fish <3s limping big pairs UTG, plus sometimes you'll see TT-JJ played like this too.

His play looks like a strong pair not wanting to be drawn out on.

good points by the last 2 posters. Monsters usually don't waste their hands with big bets like this on the flop. If you got this size bet on the river, then it usually is a monster. Definite call here.
