villain is 70/0/1.1. haven't seen him raise any bets post flop, although he floats a ton both in and out of position and bluffs into open spaces a lot. he's a total moron, but he's been at the table a long time, and i haven't once seen him agressive in the face of agression. just a bunch of floaty/cally/bluffy crap like this little gem which happened the very previous hand:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $49.50
BB: $168.00
UTG: $59.90
MP: $48.70
Hero (CO): $50.00
BTN: $63.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (6 Players)
UTG raises to $2.00, MP folds, Hero calls $2.00, 2 folds, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($6.25) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 Players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $6.25, BB calls $6.25, UTG folds

Turn: ($18.75) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
BB bets $18.75, Hero raises all-in to $41.75, BB calls $23.00

River: ($102.25) 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $102.25 ($3 Rake)

BB had 8/images/graemlins/club.gif 5/images/graemlins/club.gif (three of a kind, Eights) and LOST (-$50.00)
Hero had 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (a full house, Sixes full of Eights) and WON (+$49.25)

this hand was actually the one and only time that i saw him bluff without someone shutting down first.

there's no way i can fold this hand to such a massive tard that just lost a huge pot, even if he is super passive and making an insane overshove is there?

Wow this spot is gay. I can't imagine folding this, but I also can't imagine a passive fish putting in so much money with a hand that doesn't have u beat. You obv aren't getting odds to chase a heart alone and have to be ahead of some of his range to make this call good. I guess I'm not being much help, I too would like to see what some people think.

This push is so often an ace who thinks he needs to protect his hand from the flush.(from this kind of player) Good call in my opinion.

I like it!! massive draw, TPTK, what can you do but call?

I should say I obviously never fold. Whether or not thats right is another question. I tried messing with pokerstove but I suck with it.

i don't really know how you'd go about making a range for this pillow biter though, especially not right after he donked off a bunch of money on the previous hand.

good point...if u think his range is that wide then i guess it has to be a call.

i'm guessing he has a set or flush or maybe sucket out for 2 pr.

the flop call is fine, i don't think i could fold vs. described opponent either though it obviously sucks to not improve on turn or river.

I'm no expert - to put it mildly - but in this spot, against this opponent, with this recent history - I'd never forgive myself if I didn't call his shove.

Surely, two pair is more likely than a set, so any K is probably good for you, plus your flush draw. And that's assuming he's not bluffing on tilt.

(Superstationmegadonk - what a great word. Tempted to get it printed on a t-shirt.)

I play it the same. Given the history, there isn't much you can do.

i know you shouldnt be result oriented, but I would really like to know the outcome /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I think this is an obvious fold. If betting were normal i'd have no problem playing a 400bb pot against him with this hand, but his overbet shove is just screaming made flush (to me) that needs protection from the very hand you have. Not to mention that you're likely to have much better spots against him in the next few orbits where you can just value bet flop/turn and induce a bluff on river, no reason to call here this deep.

i'll have better spots regardless of whether or not i fold. if i call and lose, it'll take him a while to donk off 5 buyins or whatever.
